A drink setup for artificial-turf sports complexes
Check where spectators and drinks are allowed, then choose a supported resting spot. No-stake does not mean permitted everywhere.
Check the spectator area before unpacking
Look for the facility’s current rules and posted instructions. The playing surface, spectator area and picnic area may have different rules. Ask the venue if the boundary is unclear. A freestanding holder does not give permission to place a drink or chair wherever there is space.
A real venue example shows why details matter
Snohomish County’s Tambark Creek field rules prohibit stakes and certain furniture on the synthetic field, restrict field beverages to water and direct spectators to the bleachers. These rules describe that facility, not every sports complex. Steadi has no stake, but that fact alone would not override the other restrictions.
Choose the resting surface separately
Once you know where you can sit, check the actual surface. Steadi needs its full 5.2-inch footprint supported on a level stationary spot. Artificial turf can cover uneven ground, and grass can hide depressions. Steadi is not a leveling device. A permitted stable side table can create a more deliberate resting spot.
Keep drinks beside the seat and outside traffic
Leave the route for players, officials and families clear. Do not put a drink behind a chair leg, under a folding mechanism or in the path of a gear wagon. Sit down and check whether your hand can reach it naturally. Move it before moving the chair or table.
Your container and its contents still matter
Measure the container bottom at 2–3.15 inches across and check full seating, handles and boots. Venue drink restrictions apply to the beverage and container regardless of which holder surrounds it. Reset at the next field
Do not assume the next game has the same surface or rules. Pick up the drink before folding equipment or rolling the wagon. At the next seat, repeat the permission, support and reach checks. No field-specific stability or wind rating is claimed.
